Singapore Airlines is founded on May 1st, 1947 as Malayan Airways, with Singapore Kallang Airport as it's main hub. Originally, the Malayan Airways serves 3 destinations to Malaysia which is Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Penang. After over 60 years serving, Singapore Airlines have become one of world's largest airplane market, with its famous slogan "A great way to fly". Singapore Airlines' hub is at the world's best airport, Singapore Changi Airport, and currently Goh Choon Pong is the CEO of the airline. The airline serves 62 international destinations world wide over Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa an
d the Americas, with over 100 fleets operating. Singapore Airlines was placed third in the Skytrax World's Top Airlines 2014, same position as they got last year.

1. An Airbus A310-300 Singapore Airlines operating flight 117 with Kuala Lumpur to Singapore route were hijacked by Pakistani. But then the Singapore Operation Air Force successfully killed all four hijackers, with no passangers or crew fatalities.
2. Singapore Airlines flight 6 opertes with an Boeing 747-400 crashed when trying to take off from Taiwan Chiang-Kai-Shek Airport for Los Angeles International Airport, from 179 passengers on board, 83 were killed and 71 having injuries.

Company Profile: Qatar Airways

Founded on November 22nd 1993, Qatar Airways was one of youngest airplane companies currently operating, with Hamad International Airport as it's main hub. Within just less than 20 years, Qatar Airways have successfully being one of the best airline in the world, which in 2014 they were announced as the second best airline in the world by Skytrax, losing just to Cathay Pacific. Qatar Airways currently serves 125 international destinations from Doha with over 100 fleets. The second world best airlines has a famous slogan "World's 5 Star Airline", and currently it's CEO is Mr. Akbar Al Baker. In 2013, Qatar Airways have announced them self being new members of oneworld airline alliance.

Accidents or Incidents
1. 24th February 1949: A Douglas DC-3 operated by Cathay Pacific in a Manila to Hong Kong flight crashed near Braemar Reservoir because of bad weather, killing all 23 people on board. 
2. 13th September 1949: A Douglas DC-3 Cathay Pacific with Anisakan to Hong Kong route crashed upon take off, all passengers and crew were save. 
3. 23rd July 1954: A Douglas DC-4 Cathay Pacific was shot down by People's Liberation Army Air Force (China) aircraft above the South China sea, 10 of 19 people on board were killed.
4. 5th November 1967: A Convair 880 Cathay Pacific operating flight 33 overran the runway at the Hong Kong airport upon take off to Saigon. 
5. 5th June, 1972: A Convair 880 Cathay Pacific with flight 770Z (Bangkok to Hong Kong) burst in the air after bomb, which believed to be from a suitcaise in the cabin, exploded. This crash kills all 81 people on board the aircraft. 
6. 13th April, 2010: Cathay Pacific flight 780 operated with an Airbus A330-342, in a Surabaya to Hong Kong route, have engine failure at both engines, due to contaminated fuel. But then the aircraft successfully landed at Hong Kong International Airport, no fatalities were reported, but 57 passengers were injured.
